Team & Story – January 16, 2018

Angee launched @ CES 2018

What a whirlwind! It’s taken a minute for our team to unpack all of the excitement and progress that sparked during our time in Las Vegas. In just one short week we were not only able to meet face-to-face with important partners and investors from around the globe, but we also enjoyed a wave of warm press mentions welcoming Angee to the growing connected device market.

Our team is passionate about the home protection solution Angee offers and CES marked the first time we were able to share our passion with media entities, partners and attendees alike.

The beauty of CES is that it brings together innovators from every aspect of the technology and development worlds and gives us all the opportunity to share and learn from one another. This conference gave us the chance to lead in-depth discussions on everything from feature integrations to distribution channels.

To give you a sense of what our week in Las Vegas was like, we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite press mentions from the conference:

Wirecutter included Angee in “Some Gadgets We Might Actually Buy From CES 2018.

We were honored to be recognized with a Best in Show CES 2018 award from TWICE Picks. “TWICE Picks are a microcosm of the collective genius of the technology industry and CES,” said John Laposky, TWICE content director. “These products and technologies rise above and highlight the best the tech sector has to offer to improve lives, entertain us and increase our knowledge and our productivity.”

In addition, CNN covered Angee throughout a whole day!

We also had some exciting coverage from Forbes and Huffingtonpost right before CES.

Huffingtonpost wrote about Internet of Things (IoT) and highlighted Angee “….what’s even nicer is a device designed to guarantee the safety of our homes and families. That’s where Angee comes in.”

Forbes gave some great tips for keeping your smart home safe during the holidays and gave a nice shout out to Angee. “Angee, a new smart home security system that will be unveiled at CES 2018 and claims to be completely autonomous, is one of the first ones I’d look into.”

Thanks for your support, and stay tuned for more updates!
