Hello everyone! I’m very sorry for the delay between updates, we’ve been working nonstop since I last wrote. As you can imagine, there’s a bunch to report!
We’ve made some great strides with the Angee beta system in the office, which has live streaming with almost zero delay, knows who is there, and can be controlled remotely! Check out the demo video I took below:
We’ve also got our final version of the security tags protecting our office! These are great for my sanity – they allow the system to arm and disarm itself automatically, and to identify who comes and goes. I used to get alerts anytime the door was opened, now it’s only if the system can’t recognize the person opening the door. But no need to worry if you’d prefer to get notified! You can choose to get an alert anytime the door is opened to always know who is home. Angee is completely customizable!
And we’ve been making some great connections! I mentioned we were accepted into the Plug and Play IoT accelerator, the program just finished and I’m glad to say we met a bunch of cool startups and potential partners. The program culminated with a big demo day, check out Max spreading the good word here:
On the manufacturing side, we are really, really close to signing our manufacturing partner. The selection process has been incredibly time-intensive and complex, but the hard work has paid off as we’re entering our final phase of negotiation. I’ll tell you more about it in the next update, so stay tuned for an exciting announcement 🙂
Lastly, we’re getting ready to releasing our mobile app! This will one day be the main app that you use to always know what’s happening in your home, and you guys will be the first to get a chance to check it out. It’s still in beta, so we are eager to get it into your hands so you can tell us how to make it even more useful!
I’ll write again soon. Until then, enjoy the sunshine!
