Hello everyone! Spring is in the air and I have a lot to tell you, so let’s get to it.
I want to start by thanking you all for the valuable feedback you gave us about packaging designs in our last update. Your input is invaluable, and we will keep you in the loop as we get everything finalized. As always, should you have any suggestions, questions, comments, or compliments, you can reach us directly at AMA@meetangee.com.
I just got back from Shenzhen after a second trip to meet with manufacturers. As I mentioned the last time I wrote about this process, choosing the right manufacturing partner is a monumental decision which cannot be rushed. Though picking the right partner has proven to be more challenging and time-consuming than initially anticipated, this second visit was extremely productive!
We have shortlisted seven manufacturers, and I’m proud to report that these are some of the world’s top manufacturers which receive and pass on hundreds of proposals per day. They only meet with 20-30 projects per month, so the fact that we are still in contact after two long meetings and about three months of intensive online communication speaks volumes about what they see in Angee and what lies ahead.
The manufacturers have been especially impressed by our vision to change the way people interact with technology. As you know, here at Angee we believe technology should adapt to people (not vice versa), and truly great technology should be doing its job automatically without getting in our way. Sharing our vision with our partners is very important for us and for our ability to change things for better.
On the development side, we’re working diligently toward the release of our app! The app will be exclusively available to our Kickstarter & Indiegogo backers, and we look forward to introducing it to you soon. More on that next update.
If any of your friends who have yet to buy Angee, this is the last call to pre-order Angee! We’re closing our Indiegogo campaign on May 22nd, so this is their last chance to get Angee at a discount (and to be among the first to receive it!).
