EE Lead

Description of Role

We are looking for a skilled and ambitious candidate with a passion for technologies willing to lead embedded firmware development activities. EE Lead is responsible for timely and quality delivery of embedded firmware of the Angee Hardware Platform including management of the code and cooperation with the vendors. The EE Lead is also responsible for resource planning withing embedded firmware development and closely cooperates with the engineering team of the company.

EE Lead at Angee will play a role in executing of the company engineering practices, help to define embedded system architecture, product UX and implementing new features, improving system performance.

To ensure a smooth user experience of the home security service, the EE Lead needs to be customer/product oriented, willing to participate in beta testing, focus groups and other customer-oriented activities.

Key Areas, Tasks, and Responsibilities of the Role

  • Embedded FW Code Management
  • Embedded FW Development
  • Production FW Testing Specification and Development
  • Responsibility for firmware and hardware development and delivery
  • Communication, planning and organization of 3rd party partners and contractors
  • Requirements specification and output validation of HW components functionality

Angee has a forward-looking and growth-inspired culture and the successful candidate must be self-driven, able to work well and deliver excellent results using their own initiative. Resourcefulness and a sound understanding of software and/or hardware product development are further requirements.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required

  • At least 5+ years of Embedded FW developer role
  • At least 2+ years in the role of Team Leader or relevant
  • Programming in C Development
  • Embedded FW development resource planning
  • Deep understanding of Embedded Hardware Architecture

Advantage – specific, relevant technology experience in

  • Specific technologies: Nordic, Ambarella, ST Microcontrollers, etc.
  • RF communication (BLE, WiFi, ISM)
  • Embedded Linux
  • Programming in C++
